Friday 10 pm. Packed with a good, lively crowd. Attractive and ethnic decor. Ordered Large Adeni for 5 guys and it was sufficient for 30 mins before we ordered another. The Saffron , pistachio milk cakes look rich and decadent, but was light, not dense, not too milky, or heavy, and the palate was not clacky. The pistachio bakalava had flavour and not just of sugar, the square cold milk baklava should have more of the brown stuff on it. After pouring the tea, don't forget to place the pot over the candle to keep it warm. The desserts exploded in my mouth.
Such a beautiful space. I had a wonderful savory pastry and a Konami coffee drink. Unique fare that is also quality and comforting.
Stopped by this coffee shop for the first time and absolutely loved it! The coffee was smooth and rich, but the real star was the pistachio milk cake so soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere too. Can’t wait to come back!
New place on Hollywood Blvd is gorgeous, bright and shiny. We tried the coffee and some food and it all is amazing. Will be back for sure, has large windows for people watching at Hollywood and Vine.
Beautiful place. Finally some Average human portion food. Coffee is yummy as it came from Yemen. They’re known for their best beans. What impressed me was the details in everything. Design food. Variety and the top was there’s 99 names of Allah written in a beautiful calligraphy style. God bless the place and his owner.
Wonderful coffee. I ordered the Mofowar hot and a spinach fatayer which was served warm. I loved how aromatic the coffee was. $10 for both items which made for a satisfying mid afternoon snack.
Visited this place recently with my friends, tried the Adeni chai which is a Yemeni black tea added with cardamom, nutmeg & cream in it. Also tried the honey comb which was really amazing. Must try!! Overall the place has a great vibe with very respectful staff and owners.
